Little Ant Math collects the information needed to respond to enquiries, arrange lessons and provide tutoring services.

Information submitted through the website is used for these purposes and is handled with appropriate care. Access to enrolment information is restricted to authorised personnel.

What we collect

• Parent/guardian name, email and phone number
• Student first name and school year
• Course interest, lesson preferences and learning goals you choose to tell us

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange trial and regular lessons, and manage tutoring services.
• We only ask for more detailed student information when it is genuinely needed for teaching.
• We do not publish student names, photos, results or parent reviews without appropriate permission.
• We do not sell or share your information for marketing. If we ever send newsletters, you can unsubscribe at any time.

Your choices

Parents or guardians may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information, subject to applicable legal requirements. Email [email protected] or call 0493 108 609.

Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as health or medical details) in the initial enquiry form.

1. Student absence

If a student is unable to attend a scheduled lesson for reasons attributable to the student or their family, the lesson fee is generally non-refundable.

At the tutor's discretion and subject to availability, a make-up lesson may be offered. Alternatively, the student may receive an electronic document containing the answers and explanations for the missed lesson.

2. Cancellation by the tutor

If a lesson is cancelled by the tutor, the student or parent/guardian will be offered a rescheduled lesson or a refund of the fee paid for that lesson, as appropriate.

3. Refunds for prepaid lessons not yet started

If prepaid lessons have not yet commenced, the full amount paid for those lessons will be refunded.

4. Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule lessons should be made as early as possible. Any rescheduling arrangement is subject to the tutor's availability and confirmation.

5. Trial lessons

One-to-one trial lessons are charged at the standard lesson rate.

For group-class trials:

• If the student is dissatisfied with the trial, 50% of the standard trial lesson fee will be charged.
• If the student is satisfied and enrols in the regular course after the trial, the trial lesson fee will be credited towards the course fee.

6. Fees and booking confirmation

Small group class fees (2–6 students, 1–2 hour lessons) are charged per student by the hour and published on the Courses page. Fees for one-to-one lessons and Foundation (Prep) are provided on enquiry.

A booking is confirmed only after the lesson time and applicable fees have been agreed with the tutor.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
